Weird opening, but dries down to an accurate dupe.

Even after macerating/oxidizing, I still get a strong banana opening. The original is a sapodilla and ambrette top, but both the original and Oakcha dupe dry down to a delicious sandalwood and magnolia scent that is an easy wear. In true Byredo fashion, this dupe fades into a light cedar and ambergris powder… and then disappears after 3-4 hours.

I like changing up my scents throughout the day, and don’t like heavy projectors that last forever, so I love Oakcha’s dupes for Byredo. The dupes are often stronger because of the higher scent concentration, but they fade away just like the originals.

Big fan of each in the Byredo-inspired trio—thanks for the delicious scent adventures. Not sponsored but would love to try more scents!

    Close enough

I own a travel size of Mojave ghost, and oakcha’s version is pretty similar. Definitely has a stronger fruity note, it’s also a bit sweeter than the original, which leans more woody. But it’s a very pretty scent and lasts longer, about 6 hours on me. The perfume is kinda oily, so you need to pat/rub it into your skin.

    Great dupe

Smells VERY close to the original. The OG is just a little bit more fruity but other than that this is great. It’s also just a little lighter than the original.
