Zen Escape

I have Juilette Has a Gun in Pear and this does not smell the same. This has more....umph to it and leans a bit more masculine I think. With that being said it is very unisex and my favorite scent ever on my husband. When he wears this and I wear the original it definitely has 2 completely different scents. I agree with the other review that if small samples were available for purchase at a decent price point like what comes in a magazine I would buy a lot morw of the standard size bottles having to invest so little in a sample to know what I like.

I never buy without smelling a perfume, so this was my first time ever buying a perfume without knowing if I'd like it... but since it said it was a dupe of Pear Inc--a perfume that dries on my skin really well and a scent that's very friendly and versatile? I thought it was a safe purchase and am so glad I went ahead and bought it. The top notes may not be exactly like Pear Inc; I personally smell a bit of licorice when I first spritz it on, but that initial licorice melts away to the bright and crisp pear smell I really craved and that clean ambroxan smell carries throughout the day.
