This one really unfolds. It sprays on with very powerful projection. I was a little disappointed at first because it opens very citrus forward which isnt my thing. But as it dries down the berries make their debut and become much more prominent. At the close the patchouli and musk take the stage and leave you with a delightful impression of the exotic. Throughout everything there is a subtle woodsy note humming behind the scenes.

I was running low on my YSL black opium and decided to try this to compare before running out of the original scent. This is Spot on!!! It is just as warm, sensual, smooth, and sophisticated as the original. I don't feel either last long though but I love this scent so much I don't mind reapplying once throughout the day. I highly recommend giving this one a try if you like black opium.

It’s very strong on first spritz- smells like an elegant evening on the town in the winter months. However, you can wear it anytime. To me, it’s very raspberry, which I’m SO excited about. It really does smell expensive and it’ll last all day. This scent was missing from my collection and I can’t wait to wear it out!
