Zen Escape

I never buy without smelling a perfume, so this was my first time ever buying a perfume without knowing if I'd like it... but since it said it was a dupe of Pear Inc--a perfume that dries on my skin really well and a scent that's very friendly and versatile? I thought it was a safe purchase and am so glad I went ahead and bought it. The top notes may not be exactly like Pear Inc; I personally smell a bit of licorice when I first spritz it on, but that initial licorice melts away to the bright and crisp pear smell I really craved and that clean ambroxan smell carries throughout the day.

I was pleasantly surprised by this one! The original Pear Inc always had me wondering why they chose that name but in Zen Escape,I immediately understood. The pear is so much more pronounced in a nice fresh way that mixed with the parts of the scent I got with the original. It smells more complete as a whole and I absolutely love it! I only wish it would last longer as it fades quite fast on my skin and honestly didn't last much longer on my clothing. But with its price point I'm not mad or conservative with my reapplication.
