I had a sample of the original. I remember it was an unbalanced fragrance with a strong floral opener and delicious almost gourmand dry down. This version, even after macerating it for a good month, is just 80% similar to the original. It has the same opener that I remember, but the dry down isn't what it is cracked up to be and instead has a soapy, body wash, clean scent to it that makes it smell more like a body wash than a fine fragrance. Update: Now that it is fully spring, the soap vibes totally work for this one. It is definitely not a winter or cool weather fragrance. I have gotten complimented on it. I like it, but not in winter, lol

Hands-down, my favorite perfume. A little bit goes a long way. This stuff really smells like the original stuff. Half the price so I can buy it again. Last for a while and the amount of compliments I get when I walk by. Ladies, you know that walk by air is important. But don't buy it if you're not the type for attention because this is attention perfume. Just saying. You have been warned.

I typically order from microperfumes beforehand if I’d like to test out a scent. Black opium was on the list and I’d heard some pretty good reviews about it-so I figured why not order a dupe from Oakcha? This is a very seductive/date night/feminine perfume and I can’t recommend it enough for ladies that want to feel dangerous. My girlfriends immediately picked up on this perfume as well and they loved it too. It does last for quite a while, but doesn’t last overnight. I was hoping to get a whiff of it after sleeping lol
