    I like it but I am not crazy about it. Smells like an older very rich lady. I see it as an elegant evening perfume, not for a young girl.

    Velvet Sovereign is sophisticated fragrance

    Velvet Sovereign smells elegant, mature, and expensive. It opens with a rich, slightly sweet blackcurrant scent, followed by a beautiful rose note. As it settles, the vanilla, leather, and patchouli create a smooth, warm, slightly smoky finish. It is noticeable without being overwhelming and lasts well throughout the day. This is a sophisticated fragrance that I would especially enjoy for evenings, special occasions, and cooler weather.

    Elegant

    I haven’t smelled the original but this is a must if you’re looking for something feminine, mature and sophisticated. This smells very expensive and luxurious and slightly intimidating. She’s strong, confident, she goes to board meetings and has a table in the Michelin star rated restaurant no one can get into. She knows people.

    I personally haven’t reached that status yet so I like to layer something bright and fruity on top to lift it up a bit but I always look forward to that dry down that’s giving dim lit lounge after a long day in court, as a judge.
